Volunteer Roles
Much like the other 1,800 grassroots rugby clubs around the UK, our club is fully run by volunteers. Most of the existing volunteers at Millwall are fulfilling two, three or even more roles – they do it because they enjoy it but to grow the club even further and realise many of the great ideas suggested at AGM, simply put, we need more people to help.
Please check out our volunteer roles linked below.
You can apply for more than one volunteer role.
Free training and support will be provided for all roles.
Volunteers get preferred access to international tickets offered to the club by the RFU.
In terms of time commitment, it generally means being available in person for approximately 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon (Men’s), Sunday morning (Youth), or Sunday afternoon (Venus) once or twice a month at most.
To join our amazing team of volunteers, where you can give a little and gain a lot, email chairman@millwallrugby.com to let us know. We’ll be in touch to chat further about what works for you.
Other Ways to Support Millwall
We understand that volunteering isn’t for everyone but there are many small things you can do to help the Cluub including:
Supporting and attending matches - See the Club Calendar for Men’s, Venus and Youth Fixtures
Socialising at the many events we hold through the season - See the Club Calendar for various socials across the season.
Share social media posts and tag us so we can share yours. @millwallrugby @millwallvenus
Supply spirits for the bottom shelf. Bring back a bottle from your travels to support the Jengaaaa.
Also, please check what employer-supported volunteering (ESV) you might have at work. Some businesses give employees time off or donate toward volunteer’s hours matched.
